Best way to sell my Vespa PX200?
I bought the scooter about three years ago, with “restoration project” intentions, and have since had it broken down into parts. The engine is a little tired, and the body needs some work, as there are definitely rust patches – the previous owner painted the poor thing with purple Hammerite…
Basically, I just want to know what the best way to sell the parts is? Should I place a local advertisement in the classifieds, take it to a breaker/dealer (if they take such things?), or stick it on eBay?
Go to a largre newsagent and find a specialised magazine for scooter and advertise in that. It is such a limited market youneed to target the people likely to buy.
Local classifieds and shop ads may never be read by one right person.
